From infrared to colored

Here is a second tutorial. This time it’s about how I made the photography series of the Montmartre Cemetery.

I used the same settings as for my pictures of the Eiffel Tower, however, in the forest you will have to increase ISO to 100 or even higher.

This time, white balance is crucial. In Photoshop, we have to adjust the colors using the RGB-Curves, to get a more bluish and reddish touch. But the real secret lies within the next step. We will now change the blue and red channels! Play around with the options, to get the results you like.
Before I saved the pictures, I desaturated all areas that weren’t red. If you switch the channels in another way, you can create blue trees. Or a red sky…
